Why You Should Give Vibe Cycle A Spin:

If you've never tried an indoor cycling class before, you may be wondering what all the fuss is about. Perhaps you've seen Vibe Cycle on the timetable, thought, "I really should give that a go", and then never quite made it through the door.
Now could be the perfect time to change that.
Vibe Cycle is a fantastic way to improve your fitness, challenge yourself and enjoy a workout in a motivating group environment. Whether you are completely new to indoor cycling, getting back into exercise or already enjoy regular workouts, there is something for everyone.
What is Vibe Cycle?
Vibe Cycle is our indoor cycling fitness class, combining exercise, music and energy to create an engaging and effective workout.
Throughout the class, you'll ride to the music, work through different levels of resistance and intensity, and be guided by our instructor every step of the way.
You don't need to be an experienced cyclist or know exactly what you are doing before you arrive. Your instructor will talk you through the class and help you get the most from your session. Most importantly, you can work at your own level.
You control the resistance and intensity of your bike, meaning you can make the workout as challenging as feels right for you.
Why is indoor cycling such a good workout?
There is a reason indoor cycling has become such a popular form of exercise. It provides an effective cardiovascular workout while also working the muscles in your lower body.
Improve your cardiovascular fitness
Indoor cycling is an excellent cardiovascular workout. It gets your heart rate up and challenges your body to work harder, helping you build your stamina and overall fitness over time. Regular cardiovascular exercise can also make everyday activities feel easier as your fitness and endurance improve.
Strengthen your lower body
Cycling provides an effective workout for the major muscles in your legs, including your quadriceps, hamstrings and calves, as well as your glutes. We add moves like press ups and changes of hand positions to work your shoulders and triceps too!
By adjusting the resistance on your bike, you can increase the challenge and really feel the difference as you work through climbs and higher-resistance sections.
Work at your own pace
One of the biggest benefits of indoor cycling is that you are in control of your workout.
Want to take things at a steady pace? You can.
Ready to challenge yourself? Increase the resistance and push a little harder.
There is no need to worry about keeping up with the person next to you. Your workout is your own, and you can adjust the intensity to suit your current fitness level.
A great way to switch off
Exercise is not just about physical fitness. It can also be a great way to take some time for yourself. Once the class begins, you can focus on the music, the movement and the workout, giving you an opportunity to switch off from the rest of your day.
There is also something particularly motivating about exercising alongside other people. The energy of a group class can help you stay focused and give you that extra motivation to keep going.
You don't have to be "fit enough" to come
One of the biggest misconceptions about fitness classes is that you need to already be fit before you can take part. You don't!!!
Vibe Cycle is suitable for a wide range of fitness levels, and you can adapt the workout to suit you. You may find your first class challenging, and that is completely normal. The important thing is that you have taken the first step.
As you attend more classes, you may notice that your stamina improves, you become more comfortable on the bike and you are able to challenge yourself further.
There is no need to compare yourself with anyone else in the room. Focus on your own workout and your own progress.
Exercise doesn't have to feel like a chore
Motivation can sometimes be the hardest part of exercising.
While there is certainly a place for independent workouts, group fitness classes offer something different.
There is music, an instructor leading the session and the atmosphere of a group all working towards the same goal.
The combination can make the time pass quickly, and before you know it, the class is finished.
Vibe Cycle is designed to make exercise something you can look forward to, rather than something you simply have to get through.
A great way to become part of the gym community
Group exercise is also a great way to meet other members and become more involved in the gym. You may start to recognise familiar faces, get to know your instructors and become part of a regular class community.
You don't need to know anyone before you attend. Simply book your bike, arrive a few minutes early and get settled in.
Everyone has to start somewhere.
Never tried indoor cycling before?
If you have never attended a cycling class, there is no need to feel intimidated.
You don't need to be an experienced cyclist, and you don't need to know all the terminology or techniques before you arrive.
Our instructors are there to guide you through the session and help you get comfortable on the bike. If you are unsure about anything, simply ask. Whether you need help setting up your bike or want to know how to adjust the resistance, our team will be happy to help.
Your first class may feel unfamiliar, but after a few sessions you'll soon get into the rhythm.
